1. Who these terms are between
This website, pioneerunion.com (the "Site"), is operated by PioneerUnion Maldives Real Estate Development Investment and Development Private Limited ("PioneerUnion", "PNU", "we", "us"), Registration Number C34362025.
By accessing or using the Site you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.
2. What this Site is — and is not
The Site is the institutional website of the PioneerUnion Group. Its purpose is to describe our vision, our six-pillar operating model, and our country chapters to partners, governments, institutions and investors.
Nothing on this Site is:
- an offer to sell, or a solicitation of an offer to buy, any security, fund interest, or other financial instrument, in any jurisdiction;
- an offer of any product or service, or a binding commitment to provide one;
- investment, legal, tax, financial, engineering, medical or agricultural advice;
- a prospectus, information memorandum, or other offering document.
Any investment in, or commercial engagement with, PioneerUnion or any Group entity is made only under separate written agreements, subject to the applicable laws and licensing requirements of the relevant jurisdiction.
3. Group structure
"PioneerUnion Group" refers to PioneerUnion Maldives Real Estate Development Investment and Development Private Limited and the entities it controls, including country chapter holding companies and their operating subsidiaries. Each entity is a separate legal person. Describing an activity on this Site does not make any other Group entity a party to it, and does not create a guarantee, agency, partnership or joint venture between Group entities and you.
4. Forward-looking statements
This Site describes goals, targets, pilots, plans and intentions — including the Maldives chapter five-year goals and our replication strategy for other small island developing states. These are forward-looking statements. They rest on assumptions about markets, regulation, financing, climate and counterparties that may prove wrong.
Where a figure is a target, a projection, an estimate or a placeholder, we label it as such. We do not warrant that any goal will be achieved, that any timeline will be met, or that any figure will prove accurate. We are not obliged to update forward-looking statements, though we intend to correct material errors when we become aware of them.
5. Accuracy of content
We take reasonable care with what we publish. We do not warrant that the Site is complete, current, or free from error. Third-party data (including statistical, market, customs, climate and regulatory data) is reproduced as published by its source, and we do not independently guarantee it.
6. Intellectual property
The Site and its contents — including text, page structure, layout, graphics, photographs, diagrams, data compilations and source code — are owned by PioneerUnion or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws.
The name "PioneerUnion", "PNU", the motto "Lux Sit" / "愿有光", the horse emblem, and the chapter and pillar brand names, are trade marks of the PioneerUnion Group, whether registered or not.
You may view the Site, and print or download extracts, for your own non-commercial reference or for the purpose of evaluating a possible relationship with us. You may quote short extracts with attribution to pioneerunion.com. You may not otherwise copy, republish, adapt, frame, mine or systematically extract the Site's content, or use our marks, without our prior written consent.
Media use of our press materials and brand assets is governed by the Newsroom page.
7. Acceptable use
You must not:
- use the Site unlawfully, or in breach of any applicable sanctions or export controls;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Site, its servers, or any connected system;
- introduce malicious code, or interfere with the Site's availability or integrity;
- scrape, crawl or harvest the Site at a rate or scale that burdens it, or in defiance of robots.txt;
- misrepresent your identity or affiliation when contacting us;
- use contact forms to send unsolicited commercial communications.
We may suspend or restrict access where we reasonably believe this clause has been breached.
8. Enquiries you send us
If you send us an enquiry, proposal, concept or other material through the Site, you confirm that you are entitled to send it and that it does not infringe anyone's rights or confidentiality obligations.
We receive a large volume of unsolicited proposals. We may already be working on, or may independently develop, something similar. Unless we have signed a separate confidentiality or evaluation agreement with you, material you send through the Site is not received in confidence, and sending it does not create any obligation, relationship or compensation entitlement.
Personal data in your enquiry is handled under our Privacy Policy.
9. Links to other sites
The Site links to country chapter sites, partner sites and third-party sources. We do not control those destinations and are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. A link is not an endorsement.
10. Availability
We aim to keep the Site available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may change, suspend or withdraw all or part of the Site at any time without notice.
11. Liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including liability for fraud or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.
Subject to that, the Site is provided "as is" and "as available", and to the fullest extent permitted by law we exclude all warranties, express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profit, revenue, business, goodwill, opportunity or data, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Site or anything you rely on from it.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms of Use, and any dispute arising out of or in connection with them or the Site, are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. The courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction, except that we may bring proceedings to protect our intellectual property in any competent court.
If you access the Site from another jurisdiction, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.
13. Changes to these terms
We may update these Terms of Use. The effective date at the head of the page shows the current version. Continued use of the Site after the effective date means you accept the updated terms.
